Gambaran besar: pengangguran 3%, penyertaan tenaga kerja 71%. Maknanya ramai orang kerja, tapi syarikat pun tengah actively cari orang. Talent shortage real — ada calon minta kenaikan 30-40% bila tukar kerja. Brain drain pun masih jadi isu.

Malaysia makin jadi hub untuk Asia — cost lebih rendah dari Singapore/HK, government push investment policies, dan “China Plus One” strategy bawa FDI masuk. SSC (Shared Services Centres) pun expand kat sini.

Sektor Mana Yang Hot

Digital, tech & data — masih lead. Data science, cybersecurity, software dev, cloud infra, AI. Job mover boleh expect 20-30% naik. Data centre boom sebab generative AI demand.

Engineering & manufacturing — balik rancak. Semiconductor (Penang jadi hub), EV (Proton, Perodua invest), medical devices, green manufacturing. Gaji naik 8-12% setahun. Talent shortage teruk especially semiconductor dan EV roles.

ESG & sustainability — bukan optional dah. Bursa Malaysia dah enhance reporting framework. Even non-listed companies dan SMEs kena comply. Growth gaji 12-18%. Green economy target RM220 billion GDP dan 300,000 green jobs by 2050.

Banking — digital banking, fintech, open banking. AI/ML masuk credit scoring dan fraud detection. Job mover 20-25%, niche roles (ESG, digital banking) boleh 30-40%.

HR & shared services — makin data-driven. SSC bergerak ke automation, analytics, ESG reporting. Job mover 15-20%, transformation roles 25-30%.
